Grinberga house is a building that has experienced different times, attitudes. The family of the Danish consul Langbergs lived in the building, then Teodors Grīnbergs, the first archbishop of the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church. In the 1990s, the building was partially blown up and stood empty for more than 20 years. Accordingly, the building's reconstruction concept did not seek to restore the historical expressions. The preserved parts of the building have only been respected and restored, while new parts of the building are the antithesis of all that the building has experienced.
